Holyfield: Author and Podcaster http://www.pgholyfield.com/maah 144 144 Murder at Avedon Hill Lord Avedon has a problem. Generations of Avedons have watched over Avedon Hill and controlled the only pass through the Lantis Mountains. Traditions are important to the Avedon family, but one tradition has tragically come to an end. Gretta Platt, Housemistress of Avedon Manor, has been murdered. A member of the Platt family has always served the Avedons as Housemistress-- until now. Only a handful of people live at Avedon Hill, and most are suspects. Arames Kragen, retired Aarronic Advisor and scholar of prophecy, arrives at the gates of Avedon Hill, hoping to gain access to the mountain pass. Lord Avedon is not in a giving mood, however. This is the story of Arames Kragen and his attempt not only to discover who killed Gretta Platt, but also to uncover the truth about a town that apparently has more secrets than inhabitants. podcast, novel, podiobook, fantasy, mystery, murder, religion, magic P.G. At least twenty-five people attended the show. It was a lot of fun, and we’ll definitely be doing something like this again in the future.

Here are links to some of the things mentioned during the show:

  • Michael Spence – Brother Osric’s Scriptorium
  • Michael is now my official biographer. He must attend any future appearance I have and do a two minute introduction to whatever room we enter. :-)
  • The Red Box! – (I was wrong. From the screenshots of the different printngs, I must have gotten it in 1981)
  • Neverwinter Nights
  • Neverwinter Vault – You can still see the first draft of the first half of the novel deep within this site :)
  • Caern Short Stories still on Lulu (free) – Seeker and Roh-Kin
  • Christiana Ellis joins us for a Nina Kimberly Update!
  • Short discussion on the planned sequel, tentatively titled “The House that Time Forgot”
  • Question from Mae Breakall
  • Sneak Attacked by Chris Lesssssster
  • Tales of the Children – Short Story Anthology – More info will be posted soon!

MaAH has been sitting on Page 2 of the iTunes Literature Featured Chart for around a year now. Today I open up iTunes and I see this:

iTunes Lit. Featured Chart, Page 1

iTunes Lit. Featured Chart, Page 1

Yeah, that’s page one, my bitches (as Seth Harwood would say). Seems MaAH has moved up to #13 on the Featured List (and up to page 2 of the “Arts” Featured Chart (an even larger category that Literature is underneath)).

As for you Metamorphs… yes, I see my nemesis is above me at #7. grrrrrr.

Good days, though, people. Good days.

Episode 42, the last episode of MaAH, will be released next week at some point. I’m looking forward to putting this baby to bed.
