Arames Kragen has been hired to discover who murdered Gretta Platt. His investigation leads him to examine the corpse of a murdered book dealer a few leagues from Avedon Hill. Evidence confirms that there is a vampire master living in Avedon Hill.
I am one of those guys that always says “Support your local independent bookstore.” Now I have even more of a reason to say it!
Constellation Books, near Baltimore, MD, is an awesome bookstore. How do I know this? Because at the recommendation of scifilaura, the wonderful voice of Julienne Avedon, Constellation Books purchased two copies of the novel from Lulu.com. Right now they are sitting on the shelf in the Mystery section of the bookstore, just waiting to be picked up by unsuspecting customers… muwahahaha!!!
Thanks to Laura for the photo, and if you are in the area, why don’t you go in and buy the book! Hell, I’ve got to get my rep started as an author that can move books through a brick and mortar store, right?
Long story short: Caroline (the voice of Lane Niccols) is married to a wonderful artist, Jeff Himmelman. Jeff is the same artist that produced the awesome art used by Chris Lester over at the Metamor City podcast. I went to look at Jeff’s art site and came upon the image seen above… and about hurt myself trying to get Outlook open so I could email Caroline and Jeff to see if I could post the image on this site.
So here is Lane Niccols, recently revealed as– wait, I can’t spoil that for new listeners. I’ll shut up now.
The Story So Far for this episode: read by Seth Harwood.
